TLC’s Carmindy Inspires Natural Makeup for Sally Hansen

And to make it even happier, I just had to share my new beauty bag must have. While I’m a MAC girl to the core when it comes to my eyes, the rest of my face is LOVING the new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty inspired by Carmindy line.
The name Carmindy sound familiar? Well, it should. She’s only the effervescent faced makeup artist for TLC’s What Not To Wear. I’ve been a fan of the show for years and am constantly in awe of how dewy, sun-kissed, and flawless Carmindy’s skin always looks. I have been using her line of Natural Beauty products for almost 2 months, and I have to say I’ve never had such flawless coverage or so many compliments on my makeup.
I leave my house at 7:30 a.m. to head to work and when I get home at 6:45 p.m. my face looks exactly the same. The primer is amazing. It sets everything perfectly. My shadow doesn’t crease, my liner doesn’t run, my skin looks perfectly even and dewy and never oily. I am seriously in love. While her Airbrush Spray Makeup only comes in a handful of shades. I have been able to wear the same color and get a perfect color match no matter how many shades my skin has darkened over the summer. As a matter of fact, the coverage is so great that I can actually skip wearing the Fast Fix Concealer. And, the Forever Stay Moisture Gloss leaves my lips feeling, well…moisturized. I don’t have to worry about feathering and it’s perfect for layering with my favorite lipstick if I want a richer hue.

Let’s take a look at Coverings favorite MAC Beauty collection. It is called MAC Future Face Collection and it was created to make the complexion flawless. The Milkmaid Braid
It is the latest rave in Hollywood and it has been slowly growing fad or fashion statement. It is the Milkmaid braid. And it’s back! From runway models to women on the streets, many women are daring this new look. Yet, it is not so new after all, because some say it originated in Spanish, Boho, or Scandinavia- at any rate it’s European. Beautiful women have been enhancing their style with the new braided hairstyle! I think it looks very soft and feminine for just about every occasion. Make it neat or loose for a natural look. Local teens in my area have been making their own attempt at the look, too. I have edited so steps to achieving your own Milkmaid Braid:
- Comb the hair and split into two sections. Use a clip or ponytail holder to secure the top of the braid, if necessary.
- Make a braid into a section of hair and secure a clip to the hair to the opposite side while you’re braiding, so it will lie flat when it’s wrapped.
- Repeat this process on the each side of the head, making a second hair braid.
- Wrap each braid around the head, using a cross over pattern towards the back center part.
- Tuck the ends of the braids in underneath one another, to conceal elastic bands don’t show. Try to secure the braids with a bobby pin underneath the braid.
