Summer’s Hautest Straw Hats

Hats are not always appropriate for wearing a work unless you are in the fashionor retail industry. Otherwise, be creative as you like for that Sunday Brunch, picnic, or shopping spree. Here are a few smart and very simple tips to wearing:
1. “Choose a hat that fits both your head and your personal style.” Whether you wear skinny jeans or low rise boot-cut jeans, a hat complliments the expression of who you are.
2. “Fedoras are universally flattering.” The Fedora was created to work in all seasons (straw for summer, tweed for winter, anything in between) and for all face sizes and shapes.

3. “If you’ve got a small or narrow face, choose a short brim.” Try looking for a hat that will not overwhelm the face or obscure it. A thin face looks best when showcased with a knit beret or cloche.

4. “Mind the bill of your hat.” A driver or newsboy cap can fit the bill because it brings you an air of sophistication. ”Wide bills just wind up looking like a duck.”
