The supreme overseer of COVERINGS magazine online, Ms. Black also serves as CEO of its parent company, Blacktouch Media. She has used her quick wit and way with words to write marketing copy for Guess Inc., Forever 21 Inc., Kraft Foods, 24 Hour Fitness, the 2008 Summer Olympics, Neutrogena, and the City of Las Vegas Dept. of Tourism. She has also acted as a ghostwriter for actor Jackie Long and Minister Dr. Peggy Scott.

 

Ms. Black received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Texas in English with a concentration in Language & Composition/Creative Writing. Ms. Black has lived in Korea where she taught English as a second language to Korean corporate managers and has toured France, Japan, and Thailand giving her an invaluable perspective of world culture, which she brings to her projects.

Ms. Black is the acting COO of Blacktouch Media and the mastermind behind COVERINGS magazine. An Award-Winning retail career spanning 20+ years, Ms. Black is a much sought-after powerhouse in the fashion marketing industry, partnering her talents with retail giants Macy’s, May Co, JCPenney, Dilliard’s, Vogue, WWD, and others.

A few of her exemplary accomplishments include:

• Creation of the USA launch campaign for Chanel’s Coco perfume

• Industry Leadership Award

Ms. Black was educated at Southern Illinois University and received a B.S. in Art Education.
